I lived at Willow Creek Apartments for almost 4 years. The only reason I don't currently is because I now reside out-of-state.
I've been a renter for 13 years and this place was by FAR my favorite. The one bedroom is perfect for a mid-twenties to early thirties individual. At a market rate, you are really getting the most room for the least amount of rent...plus, utilities (minus electric) are included. I never paid for internet while I lived at Willow, though, I do not game or watch tv super often.
I have nothing negative to say about this place, but, if I had to pick a few things about the place that might not be as favorable, I might point out only two things. One, as with any apartment complex, the walls aren't as thick as I would have liked them to be. Everyone was very respectful of quiet hours, but sometimes, everyday ilfe sneaks into those hours. Two, there is no elevator. If you are handicapable, this might not be a place to consider.
The complex has 1B1B and 2B1B. All have balconies. The 2B has a connecting balcony from each bedroom. The 1B has a balcony that connects from the primary bedroom. My dog loved it. The complex features comfortable lawn chairs and a dog relief area.
Ample living space aside, Willow was exceptional at maintenance requests. Truly better than anywhere I have experienced- across states. Hugo, the Maintenance Manager, was on top of everything all the time, rain, snow, or shine. Rarely did I have to put in a request, but when I did, it was fixed within 24 hours at no cost to me.
The location is ideal for someone who is looking for a close approxomation to the city, while remaining on the outskirts. Willow is about 10 minues outside of Cap Hill- a quick drive, bike, or cheap Uber. There is a cute breakfast place, a neighborhood dive bar, and an amazing Chinese food place (Ming's Dynasty) within walking distance. Cherry Plaza is next door- featuring pizza, convenience, liquor, and a dispo. Your dog will love the loop at Infinity Park both in the AM & PM. Plus, there are two dog parks for big and small dogs. Infinity Park is located across the street from Willow. Quite literally. Infinity Park has seasonal family-friendly events. My personal favorite was the October movie, because it featured favorites like Monsters, Inc. and Halloweentown! Lastly, Infinity Park is known for Rugby. It hosts practices and games. Both are fun to watch.
I cannot sing enough praises for Willow Creek. If I ever find myself back in Colorado, I will live nowhere else.
